I have a simple little search procedure that searches a BASIC program (good for finding the line numbers in large programs, or the occurences of strings or variables etc.). However, sometimes it gives an incorrect line number using my method, which is something along the lines of:- previous code line would finish with a CR (13) then the next line number would occupy the following two bytes (hi/low). -- ______________________________________________________________________________ In off the Post Phone: +44 (0) 1787 478 468 English Footie PO Box 302 Fax: +44 (0) 1787 477 635 Football Elite HALSTEAD e-mail: pbm@iotp.demon.co.uk The European Dream Essex http://www.iotp.demon.co.uk Calcio Italiano CO9 2LA http://www.soccerweb.co.uk the definitive football play-by-mail games.... ....from the professional football play-by-mail specialists ______________________________________________________________________________ --- EchoMaker 0.47 * Origin: The Arcade BBS Usenet News Gateway (2:254/27.2)
